Chapco Bridge St. Grand Opening Gallery

Deep River, CT - June 11, 2026

DEEP RIVER, Conn., June 11, 2026: Chapco Inc., a precision sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturing company, opened the Chapco Advanced Manufacturing Center at 12 Bridge Street on June 11. A ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. drew roughly 190 guests, including Connecticut's Chief Manufacturing Officer, Kirti Patel; John Bordeaux, President and CEO of AdvanceCT, Johanna Bond, President & CEO at Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and leaders from ManufactureCT, Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), and the Connecticut Naval and Maritime Consortium.

"So first of all, I really want to thank everybody for being here. This support is frankly humbling, and I'm just really, really excited. I think we expected 60 or 70 people and we ended up with two or three times that, so this is awesome. And seeing this room filled with customers, vendors, partners, employees, friends, families, and members of the community really means a tremendous amount to all of us here at CHAPCO."

The start of a new Chapter

In his welcome, and thanks to visitors, Brian talked about Chapco’s evolution from a small machine shop in Chester to the high performance manufacturer that Chapco is now; serving national and international customers across the defense, OEM, big data, and medical devices industries. The journey from a small building at Denlar Dr. to the state of the art manufacturing facility being opened today at Bridge St. And his own journey into the business and building on father, Bob Weinstein’s, legacy.
