Located in Putnam, CT, Saratoga Safeguard Solutions is the developer of Hydro-Hitch, and other products and accessories for water control and fire fighting. Saratoga Safeguard Solutions, LLC, home of the Hydro-Hitch, was established in 2005 with over 33 years of experience in fire fighting and waterworks industries. the project

Before an introduction to Chapco, Saratoga Safeguard Solutions was experiencing quality issues with some of its custom metal fabrications for the Hydro-Hitch® product line. After these quality issues and also delays with previous suppliers, Saratoga Safeguard Solutions sought a strategic metal fabrication partner to help improve the overall quality of its component, increase supply chain reliability, while decreasing finished product inconsistencies, and defects.

the challenge

Unfortunately, its existing supplier was slow in taking the necessary steps to eliminate defective parts and meeting timelines for parts that were critical to its end products.

When Saratoga Safeguard Solutions sought Chapco for assistance, production quality and on-time delivery were at risk.

the solution

The speed with which Chapco was able to ramp-up production, its heavy fabrication expertise and value-added capabilities, as well as its dedication to high-quality work through its Zero-Defect Mission, allowed Saratoga Safeguard Solutions to stay true to both its production schedules and customer expectations.
