The Texas-based retailer will dispense hemp-derived products from automated vending machines. CARROLLTON, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, November 14, 2023 — ZAR Wellness is pleased to announce the availability of the ZAR BOX by Fastcorp automated dispensary solution, the first cannabis dispensing machine to be deployed with instant (real-time) AI facial recognition technology. The ZAR BOX combines age verification via liveness authentication, consumable hemp licensed ailment and modality-driven products, and compliant cannabis payment processing with convenient product dispensing. The ZAR BOX, simply put, creates a sleek, safe, and secure dispensary-in-a-box.

Chapco is pleased to be able to supply the DIVI’s steel cabinets that form the basis of the ZAR BOX by Fastcorp. DEEP RIVER, Conn., June 11, 2026: Chapco Inc., a precision sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturing company, opened the Chapco Advanced Manufacturing Center at 12 Bridge Street on June 11. A ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. drew roughly 190 guests, including Connecticut’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, Kirti Patel; John Bordeaux, President and CEO of AdvanceCT, Johanna Bond, President & CEO at Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and leaders from ManufactureCT, Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), and the Connecticut Naval and Maritime Consortium.
